Fair Gold Offer helps people find out what their gold and silver is worth and who pays the most for it, before they sell.
Most people sell old jewelry once or twice in their life. They don’t know the melt value, they don’t know that buyers pay very different shares of it, and they often accept the first offer. A pawn shop can offer 35–60% of the metal value while a mail-in refiner pays closer to 90%. We built a calculator that shows that difference for your exact piece.
What we do
- Read the hallmark and estimate the weight from a photo.
- Calculate the melt value at today’s gold and silver price.
- Compare what buyers publish they pay, and show which pays the most for your piece.
What we don’t do
- We don’t buy or sell metal, and we never handle your items.
- The buyers we list don’t pay us. If that changes, we’ll say so on every page.
- We don’t sell your data.
